Translations

(Etheridge) But some of the Sophree and Pharishee were there, who sat and reasoned in their heart,

(Murdock) And there were some Scribes and Pharisees there, who sat and reasoned in their hearts:

(Lamsa) Now some of the scribes and Pharisees were sitting there, and they reasoned in their hearts,

(KJV) But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,
