Translations

(Etheridge) and they struck him upon the head with a cane, and spat in his face, and kneeled upon their knees and worshipped him.

(Murdock) And they smote him on the head with a reed and spit in his face, and bowed upon their knees and worshipped him.

(Lamsa) And they stuck him on his head with a reed, and spat on his face, and knelt on their knees and worshipped him.

(KJV) And they smote him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees worshipped him.
