Translations

(Etheridge) For all these which happened to them were unto us an example, and were written for our instruction, upon whom come the ends of the world. ^{[Trostius and Gutbir read, " The end of the worlds, or ages."]}

(Murdock) All these things which befell them, were for an example to us; and they are written for our instruction, on whom the end of the world hath come.

(Lamsa) Now all of these things which happened to them are an example for us: and they are written for our admonition, for the world will come to an end in our day.

(KJV) Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
