Translations

(Etheridge) He who speaketh in a tongue himself edifieth, and he who prophesieth the church edifieth.

(Murdock) He that speaketh in a tongue, edifieth himself: and he that prophesieth, edifieth the church.

(Lamsa) He who speaks in an unknown tongue edifies himself; but he who prophesies edifies the church.

(KJV) He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.
