Translations

(Etheridge) And when they heard that Hebrew he was speaking with them, the more they ceased; and he said to them,

(Murdock) And when they perceived that he addressed them in Hebrew, they were the more quiet: and he said to them:

(Lamsa) And when they heard him speak to them in the Hebrew tongue (Aramaic), they were the more quiet: And he said,

(KJV) (And when they heard that he spake in the Hebrew tongue to them, they kept the more silence: and he saith,)
