Translations

(Etheridge) And when Jakub heard that there was corn in Mitsreen, he sent forth our fathers before.

(Murdock) And when Jacob heard that there was bread-stuff in Egypt, he sent our fathers a first time.

(Lamsa) But when Jacob heard that there was wheat in Egypt, he sent out our forefathers on their first venture.

(KJV) But when Jacob heard that there was corn in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first.
