John 14:16 - ܘܶܐܢܳܐ ܐܶܒ݂ܥܶܐ ܡܶܢ ܐܳܒ݂ܝ ܘܰܐ݈ܚܪܺܢܳܐ ܦ݁ܰܪܰܩܠܺܛܳܐ ܢܶܬ݁ܶܠ ܠܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܢܶܗܘܶܐ ܥܰܡܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܠܥܳܠܰܡ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) and I will pray of my Father, and another Paraclete ^[Paraklito.] will he give you, who will be with you for ever,

(Murdock) And I will ask of my Father, and he will give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever,

(Lamsa) And I will ask of my Father, and he will give you another Comforter, to be with you for ever;

(KJV) And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
