Translations

(Etheridge) But one of the soldiers struck him in his side with the lance, and forthwith there came out blood and water.

(Murdock) But one of the soldiers thrust a spear into his side; and immediately there issued out blood and water.

(Lamsa) But one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.

(KJV) But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.
