Translations

(Etheridge) And he was in haste, and descended, and received him rejoicing.

(Murdock) And he hastened, and came down, and received him with gladness.

(Lamsa) And he hastened, and came down, and welcomed him with joy.

(KJV) And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.
