Translations

(Etheridge) But the people were standing, and expecting Zakaria. and were wondering at his delay in the temple.

(Murdock) And the people were standing and waiting for Zachariah; and they wondered at his tarrying so long in the temple.

(Lamsa) Now the people stood waiting for Zacharias, and wondered because he remained so long in the temple.

(KJV) And the people waited for Zacharias, and marvelled that he tarried so long in the temple.
