Translations

(Etheridge) And they came to the house of that master of the synagogue, and he saw how they made a tumult, and wept and bewailed.

(Murdock) And they came to the house of the ruler of the synagogue; and he saw, that they were in a tumult, and weeping, and howling.

(Lamsa) And they came to the house of the leader of the synagogue, and he saw them in a tumult, weeping and wailing.

(KJV) And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.
