Translations

(Etheridge) But Jeshu knew their malice, and said, Why do you tempt me, you hypocrites ?

(Murdock) But Jesus knew their wickedness, and said: Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites ?

(Lamsa) But Jesus knew their evil, and said, Why do you tempt me, O hypocrites?

(KJV) But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?
