Translations

(Etheridge) Then Herodes privately called the Magians, and learned from them at what time the star appeared to them:

(Murdock) Then Herod privately called the Magi, and learned from them at what time the star appeared to them.

(Lamsa) Then Herod called the Magi secretly, and he learned from them at what time the star appeared to them.

(KJV) Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.
