Translations

(Etheridge) And when the Pharishee saw (it), they say to his disciples, Why doth your master eat with tribute-takers and sinners?

(Murdock) And when the Pharisees saw [it] they said to his disciples, Why doth your Rabbi eat with publicans and sinners?

(Lamsa) And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to his disciples, Why does your master eat with publicans and sinners?

(KJV) And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
