Romans 7:5 - ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܒ݁ܒ݂ܶܣܪܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܰܝܢ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܟ݁ܺܐܒ݂ܶܐ ܕ݁ܰܚܛܳܗܶܐ ܕ݁ܰܒ݂ܢܳܡܽܘܣܳܐ ܡܶܬ݂ܚܰܦ݁ܛܺܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܒ݁ܗܰܕ݁ܳܡܰܝܢ ܕ݁ܦ݂ܺܐܪܶܐ ܢܶܬ݁ܶܠ ܠܡܰܘܬ݁ܳܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) For while we were in the flesh, the affections of sin, which are against ^{[Compare the same particle, 2Co 7:2.]} the law, wrought powerfully in our members to yield fruits unto death;

(Murdock) For while we were in the flesh, the emotions of sin which are by the law, were active in our members, that we should bear fruits unto death.

(Lamsa) For when we were in the flesh, the wounds of sin, which were by the law, worked in our members to bring forth fruits to death.

(KJV) For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
