Translations

(Etheridge) For the Jihudoyee demand signs, and the Aramoyee require wisdom;

(Murdock) Because the Jews ask for signs, and the Gentiles demand wisdom.

(Lamsa) For the Jews demand signs, and the Syrians seek after wisdom:

(KJV) For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
