1Thessalonians 1:8 - ܡܶܢܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܐܶܫܬ݁ܰܡܥܰܬ݂ ܡܶܠܬ݂ܶܗ ܕ݁ܡܳܪܰܢ ܠܳܐ ܒ݁ܰܠܚܽܘܕ݂ ܒ݁ܡܰܩܶܕ݂ܘܳܢܺܝܰܐ ܘܒ݂ܰܐܟ݂ܰܐܺܝܰܐ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܒ݁ܟ݂ܽܠ ܐܰܬ݂ܰܪ ܗܰܝܡܳܢܽܘܬ݂ܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܒ݂ܰܐܠܳܗܳܐ ܐܶܫܬ݁ܰܡܥܰܬ݂ ܐܰܝܟ݁ܰܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܠܳܐ ܢܶܣܬ݁ܢܶܩ ܕ݁ܢܺܐܡܰܪ ܥܠܰܝܟ݁ܽܘܢ ܡܶܕ݁ܶܡ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) For from you was made to be heard the word of our Lord, not only in Makedunia and in Akaia, but in every place your faith which is in Aloha was made to be heard, so that we have no need to say of you any thing.

(Murdock) For from you the word of our Lord sounded forth; [and] not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but in every place, your faith in God is heard of; so that we have no need to say any thing concerning you.

(Lamsa) Not only have you sounded out the word of our LORD in Mac-e-do'ni-a and A-cha'ia but also, in every place your faith in God has been heard so that we need not speak anything about you.

(KJV) For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.
