Translations

(Etheridge) And because we could not endure, we were willing to be left at Athinos alone,

(Murdock) And, because we could no longer endure it, we were willing to be left alone at Athens,

(Lamsa) AND because we could no longer with stand these obstacles, we decided to remain at Athens alone;

(KJV) Wherefore when we could no longer forbear, we thought it good to be left at Athens alone;
