Translations

(Etheridge) And his lord called him, and said to him, What is this that I hear of thee ? give me the account of thy house-headship; for thou canst no longer be house-chief unto me.

(Murdock) And his lord called him, and said to him: What is this that I hear of thee? Render to me an account of thy stewardship; for thou canst no longer be my steward.

(Lamsa) So his master called him and said to him, What is this that I hear concerning you? Give me an account of your stewardship; for no longer can you be a steward for me.

(KJV) And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.
