Translations

(Etheridge) And he requested a tablet, and wrote, and said, Juchanan is his name. And every man wondered.

(Murdock) And he asked for a tablet, and wrote, and said: John is his name. And every one was surprised.

(Lamsa) And he asked for a tablet and wrote, saying, John is his name. And every one was surprised.

(KJV) And he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, His name is John. And they marvelled all.
