Translations

(Etheridge) And he began to speak to the people this parable: A certain man planted a vinery, and let it to husbandmen, and removed for a great time.

(Murdock) And he began to utter this similitude to the people: A certain man planted a vineyard, and leased it to cultivators, and went abroad for a long time.

(Lamsa) And he began to say this parable to the people, A man planted a vineyard, and leased it to laborers, and went on a journey for a long time.

(KJV) Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time.
