Translations

(Etheridge) and he took it down, and wrapped it in a cloth of linen, and laid it in a hewn sepulchre, in which no one had hitherto been laid.

(Murdock) And he took it down, and wrapped it in a winding-sheet of linen; and laid it in an excavated sepulchre, in which no one had hitherto been laid.

(Lamsa) And he took it down and wrapped it in fine linen, and laid it in a hewn tomb, in which no one was ever laid.

(KJV) And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid.
