Luke 24:28 - ܘܰܩܪܶܒ݂ܘ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܠܰܩܪܺܝܬ݂ܳܐ ܗܳܝ ܕ݁ܳܐܙܺܠ݈ܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܠܳܗ ܘܗܽܘ ܡܰܣܒ݁ܰܪ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܰܐܝܟ݂ ܕ݁ܰܠܕ݂ܽܘܟ݁ܳܐ ܪܰܚܺܝܩܳܐ ܐܳܙܶܠ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) And they drew near to that village to which they were going; and he made them suppose that to a more distant place he was going.

(Murdock) And they drew near to the village to which they were going; and he made them feel, as if he would go to a more distant place.

(Lamsa) And they drew near to the village, to which they were going; and he made them think that he was going to a far place.

(KJV) And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.
