Translations

(Etheridge) But Juchanon himself was clothed with a garment of the hair of camels, and engirded with a belt of leather upon his loins; and his food was locusts and wilderness honey.

(Murdock) And this John was clad in raiment of camels' hair; and was girded with a cincture of skin about his loins; and his food was locusts and wild honey.

(Lamsa) John wore a dress of camel's hair, with a girdle of leather fastened around his loins; and his food was locusts and wild honey.

(KJV) And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey;
