Mark 6:14 - ܘܰܫܡܰܥ ܗܶܪܳܘܕ݂ܶܣ ܡܰܠܟ݁ܳܐ ܥܰܠ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܐܶܬ݂ܺܝܕ݂ܰܥ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܠܶܗ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܫܡܶܗ ܘܶܐܡܰܪ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܝܽܘܚܰܢܳܢ ܡܰܥܡܕ݂ܳܢܳܐ ܩܳܡ ܡܶܢ ܒ݁ܶܝܬ݂ ܡܺܝܬ݂ܶܐ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܚܰܝܠܶܐ ܡܶܣܬ݁ܰܥܪܺܝܢ ܒ݁ܶܗ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) AND Herodes the king heard concerning Jeshu, for his name had become known; and he said, Juchanon the Baptizer hath risen from among the dead; [The house of the dead.] therefore works of power [Powers.] are wrought by him.

(Murdock) And Herod the king heard of Jesus, for his name had become known to him, and he said: John the Baptizer hath risen from the dead: and therefore it is, mighty deeds are done by him.

(Lamsa) And Herod the king heard about Jesus, for his name was known to him; and he said, John the Baptist has risen from the dead; this is why miracles are worked by him.

(KJV) And king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:) and he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.
