Translations

(Etheridge) The disciple is not greater than his master, nor the servant than his lord.

(Murdock) No disciple is better than his rabbi; nor a servant, than his lord.

(Lamsa) No disciple is more important than his teacher, and no servant than his master.

(KJV) The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
