Translations

(Etheridge) Blessed they who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

(Murdock) Blessed are they that are persecuted on account of righteousness: for the kingdom of heaven is theirs!

(Lamsa) Blessed are those who are persecuted for the sake of justice, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

(KJV) Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
