Translations

(Etheridge) 8:14 AND Jeshu came to the house of Shemun, and saw his mother-in-law lying, a fever having seized her.

(Murdock) And Jesus came to the house of Simon and saw his wife's mother prostrate, confined by a fever.

(Lamsa) And Jesus came to the Simon's house, and he saw his mother-in-law laid up and sick with fever.

(KJV) And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever.
