Philemon 1:13 - ܨܳܒ݂ܶܐ ܗ݈ܘܺܝܬ݂ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܕ݁ܰܠܘܳܬ݂ܝ ܐܶܚܕ݁ܺܝܘܗ݈ܝ ܕ݁ܢܶܗܘܶܐ ܡܫܰܡܶܫ ܠܺܝ ܚܠܳܦ݂ܰܝܟ݁ ܒ݁ܰܐܣܽܘܪܶܐ ܕ݁ܶܐܘܰܢܓ݁ܶܠܺܝܳܘܢ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) For I would have retained him with me, that he might have served me for thy sake in the bonds of the gospel;

(Murdock) For I was desirous to retain him with me, that he might minister to me in thy stead, in these bonds for the gospel.

(Lamsa) For I would have kept him with me to minister to me in your place during my imprisonment for the gospel:

(KJV) Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:
